Summer School

Summer School at European International School Ho Chi Minh City (EIS) offers new and returning students a chance to get to know their teacher and fellow students in a more relaxed environment, while improving their English language skills. For Summer School 2017, EIS coordinates with Camp Asia ad Inspire Educamps to offer a 3-week summer course from 19th June – 7th July 2017.

Timetable: 08:30 – 15:00 from Monday – Friday (5 x 1-hour session, total 25 sessions per week). 

Tuition fee (including lunch): 16,500,000 VND / full 3 week course or 6,000,000 VND / week. 

Early Bird Promotion: 10% off full course payment before 19th May 2017.

Primary School Students (Grade 1 – Grade 5) will engage in inquiry-based weekly projects linked to each weekly theme designed to develop language and presentation skills.  With a focus on building self-confidence, students will engage in life skills learning through team building, sports, activities and cooking.

  • Week 1Great Inventors
    Explores creative thinking to explore our dreams, setting goals and looking at systems to achieve our goals. 
  • Week 2: Changing World
    Looks at who we are as individuals and how we navigate our way through technology and change on a voyage of self-discovery. 
  • Week 3Year 2030
    Takes students to the future to look at how the world will be as they look at today’s innovation to predict the exciting and limitless possibilities of tomorrow’s world!


Secondary School Students (Grade 6 – Grade 12) will engage in inquiry-based weekly projects focusing on confidence building in presentation skills.  Personal development activities will include team building, sports, arts and leadership activities.

  • Week 1: Great Inventors
    Creativity at the centre of all innovation, students will examine goal setting and look at effective strategies to make their goals become reality.
  • Week 2: Changing World
    Examines the unique nature of individuals and how we connect to one another as we navigate through a world of constant fast-paced change and technology.
  • Week 3: Year 2030
    Students will explore innovation for tomorrow’s world understanding the importance of good decision making and self-management techniques to reach higher potential.
