Welcome

Welcome to the European International School Ho Chi Minh City (EIS), proud to be one of the few fully accredited International Baccalaureate (IB) Continuum Schools in Vietnam, and a member of the worldwide Nobel Education Network.

As an IB Continuum school we are more than a regular IB school. At EIS, we are fully focused on delivering the IB curriculum and developing students who demonstrate the values of the IB learner profile. Our three dedicated IB programmes – Primary Years (PYP), Middle Years (MYP) and Diploma (DP) – are specifically designed to transition students smoothly through their school careers and to, or from, other IB World Schools across the globe.

As a Nobel School, EIS provides students with opportunities to communicate and collaborate with their peers at other Nobel Schools around the globe. Through virtual and physical exchange programmes, EIS students benefit from cross-cultural learning and diverse perspectives that broaden their understanding and enrich their education.

EIS offers students an intimate learning environment, which our parents describe as creating a unique, secure and family atmosphere. Class sizes are limited and the three sections of our leafy campus incorporate age-appropriate facilities that ensure all our students feel safe, happy and confident at school.

At EIS, our students always come first. Our dedicated teaching faculty provide a highly student-centred learning environment where your child will be placed at the very core of the learning process, and receive a rigorous but broad and balanced education. Maintaining a genuine inquiry-based approach to learning is at the heart of our staff professional development programme. We are committed to employing and retaining teachers and supporting staff who offer our students the very best in terms of qualifications and experience.

“Exceeding expectations” is our mantra at EIS. To help us succeed in this goal, we encourage as much parental involvement in the school community as parents wish to offer. We invite you to attend our regular parent, teacher and student conferences, volunteer to help with a reading programme, become a parent representative, or just pop by the classroom once in a while to see what’s going on. You are always welcome. We also maintain regular and clear communication with parents, and invite your feedback as to how we are doing.

I hope that the above is just enough to encourage you get in touch and pay us a visit so that you can find out for yourself what it is that makes EIS so special.
